Recovering your Kerala PSC Thulasi User ID or password

Kerala PSC publishes an SMS route for recovering Thulasi credentials from your registered mobile number, alongside the portal’s own Forgot Password link. Recovery matters more than it sounds: the Commission’s instructions state a candidate may not register more than once under any circumstance, so creating a fresh profile is not a valid workaround for a forgotten login.

Steps

  1. Try the portal’s Forgot Password link first

    The registration login page at thulasi.psc.kerala.gov.in carries a Forgot Password link. Use the mobile number and email that are on the profile — recovery is tied to them.

  2. Recover the User ID by SMS from your registered mobile

    The Commission’s registration instructions document an SMS service reached from the registered mobile number, sending KL USR to recover the User ID. Send it from the number stored on the profile; the reply goes to that number.

  3. Reset the password by SMS

    The same instructions document a reset in the form KL USR RST <User ID> <date of birth as DDMMYYYY>. A temporary password is issued, and you are expected to change it on your first login.

  4. If the registered mobile number is gone

    Neither route works without the registered number. The Commission publishes enquiry numbers and district office addresses for exactly this situation — see Contact Us and the district office directory. We do not publish a step-by-step for this because the Commission does not publish one.

  5. Do not open a second profile

    A duplicate profile is a rule violation, not a shortcut. Recover the original.
