Qualification
1 A Graduation in Music conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. OR a. A Pass in SSLC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent. AND b. A Pass in Ganapraveena or Ganabhooshana Examination in Vocal Music or Gana bhooshana Diploma in Violin/Veena conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. OR Music Senior Certificate issued by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala OR Sangeetha Vidwan title of the Central College of Karnatic Music, Madras. OR Ganapraveena/Ganabhooshanam (Mridangam) issued by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala OR Diploma in Dance with Music as subsidiary subject from Kalamandalam 2 Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET-IV) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala . Exemption: (i) Candidates who have qualified CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D in the respective subjects or M.Ed are exempted from acquiring KTET (G.O.(P) No.145/16/G.Edn. Dated 30.08.16 and G.O.(P) No.206/16/G.Edn. Dated 08.12.2016). (ii) As per G.O.(P)No.6/2024/GEDN dtd 01.02.2024, CTET (Primary stage & Elementary stage) will not be considered against KTET Category IV. Note (i)As per G.O(P). No.15/2020/G.Edn dated 09/10/2020, M.Ed which is prescribed as a substitute
